MilkyWish respects your privacy. Below you'll find all the controls available to you — what data we handle, and exactly how to manage or remove it.

✅ MilkyWish does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Location Data
📍 Opt Out of Location Access
MilkyWish requests "When In Use" location permission to generate your personalised star sky and attach approximate GPS coordinates to published stars. We never track your location in the background. To revoke location permission at any time:
  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Scroll down and tap MilkyWish
  3. Tap Location and select Never

Note: core app features require location to function.

Published Star Content
📅 Stars Expire Automatically
Every star you publish is automatically deleted at the expiry date you chose (1 day to 1 year). No action is required on your part.
🗑 Request Early Deletion of Your Data
You can request early deletion of your published stars or your anonymous account at any time by contacting us. We will process your request promptly.

Local Cache
📷 Clear Local Cache
Recently viewed stars are stored locally on your device (UserDefaults) for offline use only. Deleting the app removes all locally cached data immediately.

To delete the app: long-press the MilkyWish icon → Remove App → Delete App.
